Stakeholders in Nigeria’s aviation, maritime, road, rail, logistics and energy sectors are set to converge in Lagos on October 23 for the second edition of the JustNet Transport Summit, as industry leaders seek solutions to the growing disruptions confronting the nation’s transport system.
The one-day summit, organised by JustAlive Communications Limited, publishers of JustNet News, will hold at Providence Hotel, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos, with the theme: “Navigating Global Disruptions and the Road Ahead: Mobility, Energy and Trade Facilitation for a Resilient Future.”
The summit is expected to bring together policymakers, industry experts, investors, operators and other critical stakeholders to examine the challenges undermining Nigeria’s transportation system and chart a more sustainable path for the sector.
Managing Director of JustAlive Communications Limited, Mrs. Pearl Ngwama, said the summit would provide a strategic platform for stakeholders to move beyond identifying challenges to developing practical and actionable solutions capable of strengthening Nigeria’s transport ecosystem.
According to her, the discussions would focus on key issues including mobility, infrastructure, energy security, trade facilitation and the impact of global disruptions on transportation and logistics.
Ngwama said stronger collaboration among government agencies, private sector operators and other industry stakeholders was critical to building a transport system capable of responding effectively to emerging economic and global challenges.
She added that the summit would seek to generate recommendations that could support the development of a more efficient, resilient, sustainable and future-ready transportation sector.
The second edition of the summit follows the success of the maiden edition held in 2025, which provided a platform for stakeholders across the transport industry to deliberate on major challenges and opportunities shaping Nigeria’s transportation landscape.
The organisers said the 2026 edition would expand the conversation by bringing together a wider range of stakeholders to examine emerging trends, policy gaps, investment opportunities and strategic interventions needed to reposition the sector.
With transportation playing a critical role in trade, economic growth and national development, the summit is expected to place particular emphasis on building stronger links between mobility, energy and trade facilitation.
