(NYSE: TXT), has announced a major contract to supply three state-of-the-art Aerosonde® Mk. 4.7 Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS) to Tantita Security Services, one of Nigeria’s leading private security firms.
The systems delivered in a fully ITAR-free configuration to ease international export are expected to significantly boost Tantita’s operational capability in protecting Nigeria’s critical oil and gas assets.
The agreement also includes options for additional aircraft and comprehensive training, complementing an earlier Foreign Military Sale (FMS) arrangement with Nigeria.
Powered by Hybrid Quadrotor technology, the Aerosonde Mk. 4.7 VTOL UAS offers runway-independent launch and recovery, enabling flexible deployment in rugged and remote locations. The platform is recognized globally for its mission reliability, adaptability, and performance in high-risk environments.
