Tantita Security Services Limited, a leading force in securing Nigeria’s oil reserves, has reinforced its dedication to combating crude oil theft and improving the welfare of communities in the Niger Delta. This was reiterated by the company’s Executive Director, Technical and Operations, Captain Warredi Enisuoh, during the inaugural PAN-IJAW Economic Summit held in Yenagoa.

In a presentation on infrastructure protection and oil theft prevention, Captain Enisuoh highlighted the critical role of securing Nigeria’s public infrastructure, especially its oil reserves, to maximize benefits for the nation and its people.

“Effective security of Nigeria’s infrastructure will enhance the welfare of its citizens and the nation’s overall economic health,” Enisuoh stated, emphasizing the company’s role in increasing oil production while reducing illegal activities.

He further advocated for a greener approach to development in the Niger Delta, promoting the use of carbon capture and carbon credit initiatives as a pathway to generate income and protect the environment.

“With carbon capture, these communities can benefit from global partnerships aimed at reducing carbon emissions, improving health, and fostering sustainable development,” Enisuoh explained.

The summit, which attracted prominent stakeholders, also featured praise for Tantita’s efforts. Engr. Sunny Dressman, Chairman of RGP Microfinance Bank, applauded the security firm for its contributions to improving life in the region.

Captain Enisuoh emphasized that the integration of social and economic solutions is key to long-term security. By promoting alternatives such as carbon streaming, he argued, communities could shift their focus away from crude oil pipelines, reducing environmental damage and enhancing their economic prospects.

Tantita Security Services remains committed to tackling illegal oil bunkering through a comprehensive strategy that not only seeks to halt theft but also educates and engages those involved in such activities.

The company’s inclusive approach aims to foster long-term environmental and economic improvements for the Niger Delta region.

“We are committed to an inclusive strategy that benefits the communities and ensures the security of Nigeria’s vital resources,” he concluded.
