Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSL) has donated a state-of-the-art command and control centre, along with Hilux operational vehicles, to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitment to strengthening national security.
The modern facility was unveiled on Thursday in Abuja, marking another milestone in public–private security collaboration.
Speaking at the commissioning, TSSL Managing Director, Kestin Ebimorbowei, said the donation aligns with the Federal Government’s reform efforts aimed at boosting economic performance and ensuring national stability.
Ebimorbowei, represented by the company’s Executive Director of Operations and Technical, Capt. Warredi Enisuoh, described the gesture as a clear demonstration of TSSL’s dedication to national development.
Enisuoh noted that although the command centre is situated in Abuja, its operations will cover the entire country. He explained that the centre is equipped with cutting-edge monitoring technology to enhance air, land, and real-time incident surveillance.
According to him, the 24-hour facility represents a significant step toward deeper technological integration within the corps and will strengthen the capacity of the NSCDC and other security agencies to fulfil their constitutional responsibilities.
He also commended NSCDC personnel for consistently providing protection to Tantita operatives, emphasising that private security staff are not legally permitted to carry firearms.
