The Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr. Dayo Mobereola, has extended warm felicitations to maritime workers and stakeholders across the country in commemoration of the 2026 Workers’ Day celebration.
Dr. Mobereola applauded the passion, resilience, and distinguished service of all professionals whose daily contributions continue to strengthen and advance the nation’s maritime industry.
Wishing stakeholders a memorable Workers’ Day, the NIMASA DG said:
“To all the amazing officers and stakeholders in the maritime sector who bring their passion and expertise to work every day, I celebrate you. Thank you for your dedication and your invaluable contributions to our maritime growth.”
He further reaffirmed NIMASA’s commitment to its statutory role as a regulator, particularly in the oversight of maritime labour in accordance with international and national standards. Dr. Mobereola emphasized that the Agency will continue to promote safe, dignified, and productive working conditions in line with the 2026 Workers’ Day theme, which underscores safety, dignity, and productivity.
