In a strategic move to solidify its dominance as Nigeria’s top terminal operator, Tincan Island Container Terminal (TICT) has appointed Phillips Ojo as its new head of Corporate Communications. Ojo is set to drive the company’s communications strategies, taking TICT to the next level of growth and innovation.
Ojo brings a wealth of experience to the role, having started his career in journalism with *DailySun* before making his mark in corporate communications at SIFAX Group, where he swiftly advanced to Deputy Manager. In his new position.
Ojo will oversee everything from internal and external communications to brand management, corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, and social media.
A Lagos State University graduate, Ojo holds a Master’s in Transport Planning and Logistics, a B.Sc. in Mass Communication (Journalism), and a B.A. in History and International Relations.
He’s also an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations and has honed his skills through specialized training at institutions like Pan Atlantic University and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria.
