The National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) has announced plans for a prayer session aimed at fostering peace and resolution on the turmoil between them and the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
The NNPP, which was founded by NAGAFF, finds itself embroiled in internal strife, resulting in the expulsion of Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso, the party’s 2023 presidential candidate, for alleged anti-party activities.
Dr. Clement Iwegbuna, the National Publicity Secretary of NAGAFF, emphasized the significance of Sen. Kwankwaso’s contributions to the party, particularly during the 2023 general elections.
He expressed hope for divine intervention in resolving the party’s internal conflicts and called for Sen. Kwankwaso to reconsider his stance.
The prayer session, scheduled for Thursday, May 16th, seeks to invoke divine guidance and unity within NNPP ranks.
“NAGAFF and its members as the parent body of the NNPP under the leadership of Aniebonam shall continue to appreciate and remember the role played by senator Rabiu musa KWANKWASO in the last general election 2023
“It is our hope that God shall intervene in the internal wranglings of the NNPP and also give Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso the wisdom to retrace his steps in the issues concerning NNPP and his role therein.
Dr. Iwegbuna highlighted NAGAFF’s history of seeking divine intervention during challenging times, citing previous instances such as the Kano State governorship election.
NAGAFF extended an invitation to its members nationwide to join in prayer, underscoring their collective commitment to electing visionary leadership for Nigeria’s future.
“It is our hope and belief that God will answer us again at this trial period of internal crisis.
“Accordingly all members of nagaff nationwide are to join us in prayers and together, we shall forge ahead to elect a great leader in Nigeria at God’s time,” he said.
